I will publish a performance chart only when dated portfolio values, the calculation method, and source records support it. A period containing deposits or withdrawals stays withheld until each flow can be reconciled with subperiod values.

I tested my research in a personal portfolio. The records are not complete enough to calculate returns after deposits and withdrawals, compare them with a benchmark, or show the largest fall. Until they are, I will not publish a chart or percentage.

  3. Confirmation that no deposits or withdrawals occurred during the period, or a future method that reconciles each flow with subperiod values
  4. Treatment of dividends, fees, taxes and currency conversion
  5. How the portfolio return and benchmark comparison are calculated
  6. Monthly or equivalent periodic return series
  7. Largest period-end peak-to-trough fall in the published series
  8. Source-document references and verification status
  9. Complete holdings and trades before claiming that an asset class was excluded
